Fashioned in 18K yellow and white gold, this 1970's ring features 13 calibre-cut rubies with 1 carat total weight, 11 calibre-cut emeralds with approx. 0.80 carat total weight and 14 brilliant-cut natural diamonds with approx. 0.60 carat total weight.
The emeralds and rubies are channel set in borders of gleaming yellow gold and each adorn one half of the band.
Diamonds are bead set in "crescents" that are ingeniously designed to flip one way to show the emeralds and the opposite way to show the rubies.
This truly outstanding piece is hinged in the censer and the diamond sections glide smoothly and effortlessly 180 degrees from one side of the Ruby/Emerald fixed gemstones to the other side.
One emerald gemstone is slightly chipped.
